Facilities Lead
Originally from the small village Sant Esteve de Palautordera near Barcelona, Catalunya, Alba now finds solace in the vibrant city of Berlin. She joined Catalyst in 2022. As Facilities Lead, Alba's role involves steering the coordination and development of technician teams, nurturing facility growth, and ensuring an enriching experience for students and team members alike.
She studied History of Art and Photography in Barcelona, then joined our Film Production course here in Berlin. In Barcelona, you would often find Alba either working in or visiting museums and art galleries. For any contemporary art fans, Alba highly recommends Arts Santa Monica, located next to Les Rambles. While in Berlin, Alba has worked as a Set Designer.
For Alba, the best part of her Catalyst role is applying skills and life experience that support a space in which community and art is prioritised.. Outside Catalyst, find Alba laughing with friends and family, traveling, embarking on trips into nature or crafting. Alba's greatest excitement in life is active observation.
Her life tip: Keep going ❤️ There's a saying that goes "sin pausa pero sin prisa" – without pause but without haste.
