Stephanie LeBolt

Stephanie LeBolt is all about championing emerging writers and realising stories that deserve to be told. She has been working with us in our acting school since 2022, where she leads a project in which students rehearse, design, produce, and perform their own live theatre projects.
Originally from Virginia, USA, Stephanie has called Berlin home since 2021. She has worked as a director, choreographer, producer, writer and editor, teacher, and artistic administrator. Before Catalyst, she was the 21-22 US Fulbright Research Scholar to Germany in Theatre Directing, studying tanztheater and climate change performance. Stephanie holds an MFA in Directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University (Chicago, IL) + a BA in Interdisciplinary Arts Administration from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA).
Stephanie gets a deep satisfaction from enabling student growth and is driven by witnessing their passion for their craft. That, and copious amounts of coffee.
