Application deadlines

Application deadlines vary depending on course or where you are applying from (for example if you need a visa). Deadlines for entry to our courses in 2024 are as follows:

🎓 All degree courses (Undergraduate/Postgraduate)

/// Friday 29 March 2024: applicants requiring student visa
If you will need a visa or intend to apply for funding, we recommend that you apply during this round so that you’ll have enough time for all the associated organisation. Student visa applications can often take 3+ months. You’ll also have more time to plan your re-location to Berlin!

/// Friday 5 April 2024: priority deadline
If you do not need a student visa, we strongly recommend that you apply by our priority deadline for your best chances of securing a spot on your chosen course. Applying by this deadline will also give you breathing space in your relocation to Berlin.

/// Friday 31 May 2024: final deadline
You have up until our final deadline to apply, although we cannot guarantee there will still be places available. If the course is full, you will be added to a waiting list.

/// June 2024: late applications
We only accept late applications from those who do not need a student visa. If we still have places left on your chosen course, we can accept late applications from June 2024 onwards. If the course is full, you will be added to a waiting list.

☀️ 4-week Summer Short Courses

/// Final deadline: Friday 17 May
We have a limited number of places on our summer courses, therefore we suggest you apply as soon as you're 100% sure that you'd like to join us this summer.

Alternative pathways to join us

Interested in one of our undergraduate courses but not sure if you have the right academic qualification?

Or perhaps you don’t yet have a portfolio?

A word of encouragement

What really makes applicants stand out is being open and honest about your interests and goals. If you can demonstrate a strong motivation to learn and collaborate, you'll fit in here.

Working on projects with your fellow students who have different interests and skills than you is not only fun, but it also mirrors what you might spend your professional life doing. We like to see people who can work well with others. It’s also important for you to have an idea of where your skills are at currently. If this is clear, we can help you figure out where you want to go and how to get you there.

Communicate with us if you need some extra time for a step and don’t stress about the quality of any track or videos you submit. Finally, if you are ambitious, don’t hide that. We try hard to create a space for you to grow your greatness.
